Some 34,000 gold and alloy pieces sit in the Gold Museum, the Muisca raft from Guatavita among them, alongside about 20,000 objects in ceramic, stone and textile; it closes on Mondays. The Botero Museum is free and closed on Tuesdays, and beyond the inflated nudes it shows the Picassos, Monets and Bacons Botero donated alongside his own work.
