What things cost in Las Vegas
The Deuce bus along the Strip is $4 a single ride, $6 for two hours or $8 for twenty-four, and it runs all night. Budget $55 a night for the resort fee separately from the room rate. What first-timers get wrong in Las Vegas
Resort fees are the ambush: Aria, Bellagio, Caesars Palace, Wynn and Venetian each add roughly $55 a night before tax on top of the room rate you booked. Most Strip properties now charge for self-parking too. Taxi drivers leaving Harry Reid may long-haul through the airport tunnel, so ask for surface streets. Nevada has no mandated last call, so bars simply never close and casino floors carry no clocks or windows. The nightclub economy runs on bottle service and door lists, with women frequently admitted free while men pay covers. Dayclubs such as Encore Beach Club start at noon. Downtown's Fremont Street Experience is louder and cheaper under its canopy screen, and the Arts District on Main Street is where residents drink.
