Boat tickets are sold inside the City Palace complex at Rameshwar Ghat, so the palace ticket and the boat are separate purchases at the same gate. Rickshaw drivers pushing miniature-painting schools are working on commission.
What to eat in Udaipur

Udaipur after dark
Udaipur's night is scheduled rather than spontaneous. The Dharohar show empties at eight into rooftops that screen Octopussy, filmed here in 1983, on a nightly loop that has run for decades.
