Getting around Rhodes
Local buses (KTEL) reach every beach + Lindos from Rhodes Town for €2–8. Renting a car opens the west coast + inland villages. Moving between sights: Don’t drive in Rhodes Old Town — parking is impossible. Diagoras Airport (RHO) is 20 minutes from town; taxis €25.

- Family trips. With kids in tow: Rhodes Aquarium at the north tip, safe beaches at Faliraki, and a day at Lindos where kids can climb the Acropolis.
- Couples. For couples: Old Town Rhodes at dusk, dinner at a Lindos rooftop restaurant, and a private boat charter around Anthony Quinn Bay.
- Solo travel. On your own: Rhodes Town’s old walled city is compact and safe to walk after dark; buses reach every beach for €4–8 return.
