Canal-house stairs are famously steep and narrow. Strollers board trams through the middle doors. Watch bike lanes constantly, because cyclists hold right of way and will not slow down.
When the weather turns in Amsterdam
Rain here is fine, horizontal and frequent, and residents simply cycle through it. Indoors, the big three museums fill a day, while H'ART Museum in the old Hermitage building runs rotating international loans. Foodhallen in Oud-West is a covered market hall.
