The Grindelwald Museum on Dorfstrasse is one modest building of valley history covering early tourism, the glacier ice once cut and sold to lowland breweries, and the first Eiger ascents; it opens limited afternoons outside high season. Closest to a curated exhibit is the Alpine Sensation tunnel and Ice Palace hollowed into glacier ice at Jungfraujoch, both fare-included.
