Where to stay in Goa
The Goa lodging decision is really the whole-trip decision: North for buzz, markets and nightlife, or South for calm, space and resorts. Then pick one beach and base there — because North↔South drives are long, hopping around wastes days. Goa is excellent value, so your money buys more here than almost anywhere on this site; a private villa with a pool is genuinely attainable.

- You’re a family or group — a private villa with a pool is superb value in Goa.
- You’re staying a week or more and want space, a kitchen and laundry.
- You want to live in a leafy neighbourhood like Assagao rather than on the beach strip.
