La Rambla is a pickpocket corridor and little else; walk Passeig de Gracia instead.
Barcelona's museums, and which one to pick
The Picasso Museum on Carrer Montcada holds the early academic work and the Las Meninas variations rather than the famous cubist canvases, and it closes Mondays.
