Kenya replaced tourist visas with an online eTA that must be approved before you board, so apply days ahead rather than counting on the airport. Install M-Pesa or carry a card, because park gates and plenty of restaurants no longer handle cash. Budget ninety minutes to cross town at rush hour. Gengetone and Afrobeats dominate the rooms, which stay open past three at weekends. Kilimani is the calmer alternative. Book a Bolt or Little home, because walking between venues after dark simply is not done.
