Marble Mountains costs 40,000 VND plus 15,000 for the lift each way, and the Am Phu hell cave needs its own 20,000 VND ticket, which is the memorable part. Ba Na Hills and the Golden Bridge charge 950,000 VND and amount to a theme park with a famous handrail. My Khe beach is free and better than either. Crossing a road in this motorbike city means walking at a constant pace and letting traffic flow around you; stopping suddenly is what causes collisions. The rain and typhoon season lands September to December, and October and November bring serious street flooding rather than drizzle. The Cham Museum, Vincom Plaza and Lotte Mart are the dry options. Ba Na Hills is pointless in cloud since you end up inside the weather. Hoi An is thirty minutes south, where the covered market and the tailors carry on regardless.
