Lahaina is rebuilding after the 2023 fire, so visit respectfully or not at all.

Weather here is geographic rather than seasonal: the windward Hana side rains most days while Kihei and Wailea stay dry, so the first move is to drive south. Whalers Village shopping is the honest fallback.
