Platteklip Gorge is the free way up and takes roughly two hours. Boulders Beach genuinely delivers penguins at arm's length. Bo-Kaap's painted houses are a photo stop and also somebody's front door.
Cape Town with kids, realistically
Water temperature decides the beach: False Bay at Muizenberg and Fish Hoek is swimmable, while Camps Bay and Clifton on the Atlantic side sit near thirteen degrees and children last minutes.
