TheBus charges $2.75 a ride with a HOLO card and caps at $7.50 a day, which beats parking anywhere near Waikiki. Diamond Head is five dollars per person plus ten for the car; Hanauma Bay is twenty-five for non-residents. Pearl Harbor is free with seven-dollar parking. A plate lunch runs twelve to sixteen dollars and feeds most people twice.

Waikiki's Kalakaua and Kuhio avenues run on tourists, sunset mai tais and the free hula at the Kuhio Beach mound.
