What to eat in Okinawa

Book a car. Outside Naha's Yui Rail there is no railway on the island, and the bus north takes the best part of two hours. The Okinawa Expressway runs Naha to Nago for roughly a thousand yen and spares you Route 58's crawl. Tapping a contactless card on Yui Rail caps at 800 yen a calendar day, which beats the 1,000-yen paper pass unless you need its full twenty-four hours.
When the weather turns in Okinawa
Typhoons here are not drizzle: they close bridges, cancel ferries and sometimes shut the airport, so the plan should be indoor and inland. Gyokusendo, the limestone cave beneath Okinawa World, keeps a lit walkway running the better part of a kilometre underground. What things cost in Okinawa
