Trail closures are the trap that ruins itineraries. What's actually worth your time in Cinque Terre
Five villages, and they are not interchangeable. When the weather turns in Cinque Terre
Wet rock here is dangerous rather than merely unpleasant, and the park closes trails in rain, so hiking is off the table. Fall back on the train: La Spezia has covered arcades and museums, Levanto a longer seafront, and both are minutes away on the same card. Inside the villages themselves, expect a café and a church and very little more.
