Taxis are few and cash-oriented; the KTEL bus network is cheap and genuinely useful. Sunbed prices are seldom posted, so ask the figure before sitting down. Delos closes entirely for the winter.

When the weather turns in Mykonos

Rain belongs to winter here, when most of the island is closed anyway. The actual weather problem is the meltemi, a strong northerly wind that cancels Delos boats at short notice and makes exposed north-coast beaches like Ftelia unusable. The two small museums in Chora cover about two hours between them, which is honestly the extent of the indoor options.
