What to eat in Brisbane

The Queensland Museum next door is also free and displays the Avro Avian in which Bert Hinkler flew solo from England in 1928, alongside a Muttaburrasaurus. Brisbane after dark
Fortitude Valley was Australia's first declared Special Entertainment Precinct, a zoning trick that stops noise complaints from closing live-music rooms, which is why Brunswick Street Mall still runs loud past two. Howard Smith Wharves, tucked beneath the Story Bridge cliffs, is the polished riverside alternative and shuts earlier. Caxton Street fills hours before any Suncorp Stadium fixture.
